Organic Bright Lights Swiss Chard Seeds - Perfect for Healthy Gardens

The benchmark for vibrant multicolored Swiss chard, this is a conventional seed featuring NOP-compliant pelleting.

With beautifully crinkled and glossy leaves in shades of green or bronze, the stems boast an array of colors including gold, pink, orange, red, and white, along with bright pastel variations. The flavor profile is milder than typical chard, with each hue presenting a unique taste. You can sow seeds directly or start with transplants to easily differentiate the individual colors. This mix offers a reliable growth rate, consistent leaf shape and texture, as well as robust resistance to bolting across all colors, establishing it as a top-tier option. While it can be cultivated year-round, it does show slightly less frost tolerance compared to other chard varieties. Bright Lights was created by the late New Zealand amateur breeder John Eaton; Organic-Seed selects and sustains the diverse color stocks and is responsible for seed production. It has achieved AAS Winner status and features decorticated (rubbed) seeds.
