Early-maturing bulb onions suitable for wintering over.

Cultivating your overwintering onions becomes much simpler without the labor-intensive process of growing seedlings. Onion sets provide greater flexibility in planting times compared to seed-sown fall onions, since the bulbs are already pre-established. However, they are not intended for long-term storage. These sets thrive best at latitudes of 37° and above. The average size of the sets ranges from 11 to 21 mm. Please note: Forum sets consist of small, dry immature onion bulbs that were cultivated in the previous growing season. Additionally, Forum can also be sown in spring to produce "green top" cooking onions. For spring planting, order Forum #2520.
