Frodo - Organic F1 Bell Pepper Seeds for Healthy Gardens

Introducing the new Frodo bell pepper seed! This variety offers a rich and full flavor characteristic of the Lamuyo type.

These extra-large fruits measure approximately 5–6 inches in length and are about 3 1/2–4 inches wide, delivering premium-quality produce that surpasses the taste of ordinary blocky bells. The Lamuyo peppers enjoy great popularity across southern Europe and have been gaining traction in California for their vibrant appearance and exceptional taste. The robust plants feature ample leaf cover, shielding the fruits from sunscald damage. Notably, Frodo peppers transition to red more quickly than other varieties, making them ideal for cultivation in open fields or unheated tunnels within warmer to moderate climates. In northern regions, we suggest growing Frodo in tunnels to ensure earlier maturity and significantly better yields compared to open-field cultivation. For optimal fruit quality, staking the plants is highly recommended.
