Lilo showcases a stunning dark purple hue at the start, which matures to a vibrant red. This variety yields abundantly whether cultivated indoors (with or without supplemental heat) or in outdoor settings. The inner flesh is green and has a subtle flavor profile. The plants are of medium-large size. IMPORTANT: For harvesting dark purple fruits, nighttime temperatures should be maintained at 64°F or lower; otherwise, the fruits may exhibit a brownish-purple color in warmer climates. Lilo reaches maturity early enough to be harvested while still purple, prior to Milena and Sprinter becoming ripe. It is USDA Certified Organic.
